Full Description: Jyoti commenced her journey in archery at the age of 11, actively participating in various junior-level tournaments. In 2011, she secured a bronze medal at the Asian Archery Championships held in Tehran, Iran. Two years later, in 2013, she showcased her talent by claiming two bronze medals at the World Archery Youth Championships in Wuxi, China. Throughout her career, Jyoti has amassed an impressive tally of achievements, including competing in five Asian Archery Championships, where she garnered four gold, four silver, and two bronze medals. Additionally, she has participated in multiple Archery World Cups, clinching five gold, four silver, and seven bronze medals. Notably, Jyoti made history by winning three silver medals at the 2021 World Archery Championships, becoming the first Indian to achieve this feat. Furthermore, she has accumulated one gold, four silver, and three bronze medals in total at the World Archery Championships. In January 2022, she emerged victorious in the Women's Open Pro event at the Lancaster Archery Classic in Pennsylvania, United States. Continuing her streak of success, Jyoti secured three gold medals at the 2022 Asian Games, marking her as the first Indian archer to achieve multiple gold medals in the sport.
