Full Description: Sri Ramachandra Water Sports Centre (SWSC) is Asia’s first floodlit rowing course, located within the Sri Ramachandra University campus in Chennai. With a 650m man-made lake and state-of-the-art facilities, SWSC is equipped to train junior athletes, assess professional rowers, and host Sprint and Dash Rowing events. Affiliated with the Rowing Federation of India (RFI) and Tamil Nadu Amateur Rowing Association (TARA), SWSC has already hosted national rowing competitions and trained top Indian rowers, including Olympic athletes like Sawarn Singh, Dattu Bhokanal, and Dushyant Chauhan. Supported by scientific expertise from SRCSS and collaboration with BAT Logic, SWSC aims to propel Indian rowers to Olympic success by 2024.
