Manoj Rana

Full Description: Manoj Rana is a prominent figure in the field of gymnastics, known for his extensive journey and expertise. He embarked on his gymnastics journey in 1993 when his parents enrolled him in the Army Boys Sports Company (SAI). After seven years of rigorous training, Rana secured a position in the INDIAN ARMY and began representing the Army team in gymnastics tournaments. As a player, he proudly represented the services team at the national level for a decade, from 2000 to 2010. Transitioning into coaching, Rana was driven by his passion for gymnastics and his desire to see the Indian national flag soar high on the Olympic podium. He obtained his NIS diploma in India and excelled in FIG level courses held in Egypt, Trinidad & Tobago, Philippines, and Kazakhstan, achieving above 85% in all. Since 2013, Rana has served as the National Team coach for the Indian gymnastics team, leading them to various international competitions such as World Cups, World Championships, Asian Championships, and Asian Games. Currently, Rana works as a personal coach for renowned athletes including Ashish Kumar, an Arjuna Awardee and 2010 CWG medallist, Aruna Reddy, a 2018 world cup medallist, and Meghana Reddy, a 2018 CWG participant. Additionally, he serves as a mentor for Gaudium Sportopia. Innovating in the field, Rana introduced the first-ever Kids Training Module in India starting from the academic year 2021.
