Shanglakpam Nilakanta Sharma, born on May 2, 1995, is an Indian field hockey player renowned for his role as a midfielder in the Indian national team. He contributed significantly to the Indian squad's triumph in the 2016 Men's Hockey Junior World Cup. Additionally, he clinched a gold medal in the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou.
About: Shanglakpam Nilakanta Sharma, born on 2 May 1995 in Imphal East, Manipur, India, is a midfielder. He currently represents India Youth Affairs and Sports Manipur at the club level. Sharma has played for the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board and Railway Sports Promotion Board in the past. He has earned 114 caps for the Indian national team, scoring 15 goals.
