Sushila Chanu Pukhrambam, born on February 25, 1992, is an esteemed Indian field hockey player. Having served as the former captain of the Indian national team, she boasts over 150 international caps. Hailing from Imphal, Manipur, Chanu initiated her hockey journey at the age of eleven, swiftly earning a spot in the national camp. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she was honored with the Arjuna Award in 2023.
