Description: Mohamed El-Sayed, born on March 3, 2003, is an epee fencer from Egypt. He participated in the 2020 Summer Olympics, where he faced a defeat in the quarterfinals against Ukrainian fencer Igor Reizlin, who later clinched the bronze medal. El-Sayed's remarkable achievement includes securing the gold medal in the men's individual épée event at the 2022 Mediterranean Games hosted in Oran, Algeria.

About: Mohamed El-Sayed, an Egyptian epee fencer, discovered his passion for fencing at the tender age of six in Tanta, Egypt. His fascination with the sport stemmed from its liberating nature, allowing individuals to express themselves in unique ways. For El-Sayed, fencing became an integral part of his identity, offering him a sense of freedom and self-expression. Currently associated with Long Island University in the United States, he continues to pursue his fencing career under the guidance of his coaches Ivan Lee at the club level in the USA, and Sayed Samy, his father, who oversees his training at the national level.
