Description: Sun Yiwen is a Chinese left-handed épée fencer. Sun is a three-time team Asian champion and two-time team world champion. A two-time Olympian, Sun is a 2016 team Olympic silver medalist, 2016 individual Olympic bronze medalist, and 2021 individual Olympic champion.

About: Born on June 17, 1992, in Qixia, Shandong, Yantai, China, this 31-year-old athlete has excelled in the sport of fencing. She stands tall at 1.77 meters (5 feet 10 inches) and weighs 63 kilograms (139 pounds). At the 2018 Asian Games, she clinched a medal in the Women's individual épée event.
