Description: Anju Tamang (born 22 December 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Gokulam Kerala and the India women's national team. She has also represented Rising Students, Sethu and Odisha in the Indian Women's League.
About: Anju Tamang, born on December 22, 1995, in Birpara, Alipurduar district, West Bengal, is the daughter of Ram Singh Tamang and Kanchi Maya. Hailing from a family of farmers, she belongs to the Tamang community. She pursued her education at Alagarah High School and the Scottish Universities’ Mission Institution (SUMI) in Kalimpong. Later, she pursued higher studies at the University of North Bengal in Siliguri.
