Astam Oraon, born on 5 February 2005, is a professional footballer hailing from Jharkhand, India. She serves as a defender for Odisha FC in the Indian Women's League and represents the India women's national football team. Oraon notably led the India Under-17 team during the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, which took place in India in October 2022. Her nomination as captain prompted the local administration to construct a road in her village, named in her honor as "Astam Oraon Road."
