Krishan Pathak

Full Description: Krishan Bahadur Pathak, born on April 24, 1997, in Kapurthala, Punjab, is an Indian field hockey player renowned for his role as a goalkeeper in the Indian national team. Despite being of Nepalese descent, with his parents migrating from a village in Nepal to Punjab in 1990, Pathak initially lacked interest in the sport. However, at the insistence of his father, he joined the Surjit Hockey Academy in Jalandhar at the age of 12. Tragically, Pathak lost his mother when he was also 12 years old, and his father, Tek Bahadur Pathak, a crane operator, passed away due to a heart attack in 2016.
