Description: Sports Authority of India (SAI) was set up in 1984 to carry forward the legacy of the IXth Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982 under the Department of Sports. SAl has been entrusted with the twin objectives of promoting sports and achieving sporting excellence at the national and international level.
Entrance Criteria: You can apply to a scheme in a simple three step process: Step 1 - Register on the site. You can register for your ward. Step 2 - Create a profile. This is a very important step. Step 3 - Apply for a scheme. Once you have created your profile you can apply to any eligible scheme of SAI.
