Description: Gurmeet Kaur Rai (born 20 June 1970) is a female javelin thrower from India. She set her personal best (58.64 metres) on 17 July 2000 at a meet in Bangalore, which was the national record until 2014, when it was beaten by Annu Rani. Gurmeet Kaur represented the country at javelin meets internationally, and was a member of the Indian contingent at the Sydney Olympics 2000.
