Full Description: Shilpa Rani, recognized as one of India’s top female javelin throwers, holds the second-best record among Indian female javelin throwers in the sport in 2023. In the 37th National Games 2023, she delivered an outstanding performance as she claimed the gold medal in the women’s javelin throw with a remarkable throw of 54.82 meters. Previously, Shilpa represented India at the Commonwealth Games 2022, where she achieved a seventh-place finish with a throw of 54.62 meters, missing a spot on the podium. The seasoned Indian athlete boasts a personal best throw of 59.01 meters, achieved at the National Inter-State Championships in Chennai in 2022.
