Description: 15 year old Mudit Dani has done his family, our school and the city of Mumbai proud by being the first Table Tennis player from Mumbai to win a Gold Medal in the Cadet Boys Individual Event at an International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Junior Circuit Event held at El Salvador.
About: Mudit Dani's coach Kamlesh Mehta (Arjuna award winner) said, “It’s a proud moment for Mumbai and India . This heartwarming performance by a Mumbai lad will encourage more players to follow suit.” In his words, “It couldn’t get better than winning my first gold medal for India on India’s 68th Independence Day,” said Mudit. Mudit played back to back in two International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Junior Circuit Events, held at Guatemala (6-9 August) and (12-15 August).
