About: Born on November 8, 2003, in Vadgaon Maval near Pune, Maharashtra, Harshada Garud comes from a family of weightlifters. Her father, Sharad Garud, has also excelled in weightlifting, earning a silver medal at the state school games. Currently, Harshada is pursuing a B.A. degree at Savitribai Phule Pune University.
