Jhilli Dalabehera

Full Description: Jhilli Dalabehera, born on February 3, 1999, hails from Odisha, India, and is an accomplished weightlifter. Career-wise, she made a remarkable impact in the 2020 Asian Weightlifting Championships held in Tashkent, competing in the 45 kg category, where she secured gold medals across all lifts. Prior to this, in 2019, she clinched a silver medal at the Asian Weightlifting Championships. Her success continued as she claimed the gold medal in the women's 45 kg weight category at the 2019 South Asian Games. In the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships, she participated in the women's 49 kg event, concurrently competing in the 2021 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships, both held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Her performance earned her the silver medal in the Commonwealth event. Adding to her accolades, she secured the silver medal in the women's 49 kg category at the 2023 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships held in Noida.
