Khumukcham Sanjita Chanu, born on January 2, 1994, is an Indian weightlifter hailing from Kakching Khunou, Kakching district, Manipur. She has achieved the title of two-time Commonwealth Games Champion. Chanu secured gold medals in the women's 48 kg category at the 2014 Glasgow Games and in the 53 kg category at the 2018 Gold Coast Games. Notably, she set a Commonwealth Games record of 84 kg for the Snatch segment in the latter weight category.
