Popy Hazarika

Popy Hazarika, born on December 8, 1998, is an Indian weightlifter. She clinched a Silver medal at the 2021 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent. During the 2022 Commonwealth Games in July, she secured seventh place in the women's 59 kg weightlifting event. Hazarika is employed by the Indian Railways. In 2023, she attained the gold medal in the women's 59 kg category at the 2023 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships held in Noida.
