Bindyarani Devi

Full Description: Bindyarani Devi Sorokhaibam, born on January 27, 1999, is an Indian weightlifter competing in the 55 kg weight category. In her career, she clinched the gold medal at the 2019 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships and secured the silver medal at the 2021 edition of the same event. Additionally, she achieved gold in the clean and jerk category at the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships. At the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Sorokhaibam earned the silver medal with a total lift of 202 kg. Notably, she shattered the Games record and national record in the clean and jerk discipline by lifting 116 kg.
