About: Lan Minghao embarked on his fencing journey in 2006 under the guidance of coach Liu Yexia at a sports school nestled in Hefei, China. His introduction to the sport came as a redirection from table tennis, a childhood passion that gradually became less compatible with his growing stature. Recognizing his promising physique and innate athletic ability, a coach saw fit to introduce him to fencing—an arena where his talents could truly shine. Since then, Lan has honed his skills diligently, representing Anhui Province with dedication and determination. Under the tutelage of esteemed coach Jiao Yunlong, both at the club and national level, Lan continues to excel, showcasing his prowess as a right-handed épée fencer on the international stage.
