Francisco Limardo

Full Description: Francisco Alberto Limardo Gascón, born on March 27, 1987, is a Venezuelan épée fencer.[1] He is the sibling of Rubén Limardo, who secured Venezuela's initial gold medal in forty-four years at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Limardo participated as a member of Venezuela's national fencing team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, alongside his brother Ruben, as well as fellow countrymen Wolfgang Mejías and Silvio Fernández. However, Limardo and his team suffered defeat in the fifth-place match of the men's team épée against the Hungarian team (led by Géza Imre), with a total score of 20 touches.
